Three things to print, free and without signing up: a letter you can send home with your class, a times tables poster for the wall, and all the worksheets in a single PDF. Everything may be copied and passed on (CC BY-NC 4.0).
Letter for parents (one A4 page)
A letter to the families in your class: what you are practising, what the game costs (nothing), what data it collects (no personal data) and a QR code to the page. With space for the class, the date and your signature. In three versions: with a blank line for the topic, for the times tables, and for addition and subtraction.
Times tables poster (A3 and A4)
The tables from 1 to 10 as a grid, with the eight jungle animals along the edge. Prints cleanly in black and white too. A small line with a QR code to the practice page sits at the bottom.
Worksheet pack (one PDF)
Every sheet for one year group in a single PDF with a cover page: Year 1, Year 2 and Years 3–4. One sheet per topic in the ink-saving version, no answer key.
Everything on this page is free for home and for the classroom. Licence: CC BY-NC 4.0 — print, copy and pass it on, but do not sell it. If you share something online, please link to this page. CC BY-NC 4.0
These facts describe the current version in the stores. The full privacy policy is at /privacy/.
Does the game cost anything?
No. It is completely free: no ads, no in-app purchases, no subscription and no trial that runs out. Children earn coins by running and spend them only on outfits inside the game.
Do children need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no email address and no account. Two children can share one device, each with their own profile.
May I copy the letter and change it?
Yes. The letter, the poster and the worksheets are CC BY-NC 4.0: copying, printing and passing them on is the point; selling them is not. If you put something online, please link to number-jungle.com.
Which year groups does it cover?
Years 1 to 4 (Grades 1 to 4), roughly ages 5 to 10: addition and subtraction to 10, 20 and 100 with and without bridging ten, the times tables from 1 to 10, and division.
Will it run on the school's tablets?
It runs on Android phones and tablets and on iPhone and iPad, and it needs no internet connection. Whether it may be installed on managed school devices is the school's or the trust's decision.
Is any data shared with third parties?
No. There are no analytics, tracking or advertising services. Only the optional leaderboard sends a made-up nickname and the metres run to a server at Cloudflare, and parents can switch it off.
Who is behind it?
Sebastian Illing, an independent developer in Germany who built the game for his own children first. The legal notice and contact details are on the site.
