Math game · ages 5–10 · grades 1–4
Number Jungle is a free math game for children aged 5 to 10 (grades 1 to 4) on Android, iPhone and iPad. Your child runs through the jungle and answers addition, subtraction, times tables and division by running into the lane with the right result. No ads, nothing to buy, and it works offline.
7 × 8 = ?
Pick the lane with the right answer.
Every run is full of questions. Every answer is a jump into the right lane.
Kids swipe to dodge, jump and slide. When a math gate appears, they answer with their feet. That turns a page of sums into lots of quick, playful answers.

Jump over logs, slide under branches and collect coins. Simple swipes, picture buttons, no reading needed.

A gate shows a question and three answers. The right lane earns bonus coins. A wrong one costs a heart and shows the solution right away.

Right answers free animals from the vines, the first after just 10. Each one helps: the elephant carries your child through crates, the frog jumps higher.
“The math happens by accident.”
A great app for bringing math to children through play! As a primary school teacher, I find it especially practical that the topics and number ranges can be adjusted to each child's level. Addition, subtraction, division and multiplication can be added step by step. We'll definitely try the app in math class! The kids are sure to have lots of fun 😊
Great app for primary school kids. The math happens “by accident” and is built right into the game.
Tolle App für Grundschulkinder. Das Rechnen passiert „aus Versehen“ und ist ganz natürlich in das Spiel integriert.
A great app for practising math through play! Lots of small, well-thought-out ideas, like the pause button that gives little mathematicians and gamers a bit more time. A lovely app I can recommend.
Eine tolle App zum spielerischen Mathe üben! Viele kleine durchdachte Ideen, wie die Pause Taste um den kleinen Rechnern/Gamern etwas mehr Zeit zu geben. Schöne App, die man empfehlen kann.
Super! This finally makes math and working with numbers fun.
Super! Damit macht Mathe und der Umgang mit Zahlen endlich Spaß.
From first sums to fast times tables.
Pick the school year and the game builds a path of small steps. Or switch each kind of question on and off yourself.
Facts that are still shaky come back more often. Mastered ones show up less, so practice time goes where it's needed.
You set the topics. You see the progress.
Your area sits behind a grown-up question. Kids stay in the jungle, you stay in control.
What's going well, what to practise next, and the trend over eight weeks.
School year, or each topic on its own: crossing the ten, times tables, division.
A wrong answer shows the solution and costs one heart. Then the run goes on.
Each child gets their own profile, character and progress.
Settings and the report are protected by a question only grown-ups can answer.
Coins from the runs buy outfits. The treasure chest contents are fixed, never a lottery.

The further they run, the more jungle opens up.
New worlds unlock by total distance, so steady practice is what moves kids forward.

Every right answer helps an animal.
Eight jungle animals are stuck in the vines. Right answers set them free, one after another, and wrong ones never take progress away. Each rescued animal joins the runs with its own power.
AxolotlBubble shieldThe next bump pops a bubble instead of costing a heart.
Baby elephantElephant rideYour child rides along and knocks every obstacle out of the way.
FrogFrog jumpJumps more than twice as high, right over walls.
MonkeyMonkey grabGrabs the coins from all three lanes.
TortoiseTurtle timeSlows the run down for a while.
ToucanToucan tipTakes away one wrong answer at the next gate.
Tiger cubTiger sprintRaces ahead and leaps over everything in the way.
ParrotFly alongCarries your child high above the track to a trail of coins in the air.
What leaves the phone: almost nothing.
Profiles, progress and the report stay on the device. The only online feature is the world leaderboard, and it shows a made-up nickname like "Swift Jaguar 27", never a real name.
Parents can switch the leaderboard off for each child. That also deletes the child's entry on our server. Read the privacy policy
